Yes, it does have a Curbow headstock, though not bound like the fretboard--we'll save that for the next Curbow!

at first i wondered why would there be extra frets on the low strings and not the higher ones, that doesnt increase the range at all, i then thought that it would be for somethign to slap on, is that why?
