Can any of the engineer/speaker design folks shed some light on whether this is possible? The company is called Bromer Sound, but I couldn't find any actual information about this guy or his speaker design online. Personally, I don't find that there's a real need for a 5-foot speaker, so I'm not sure why it would be necessary to simulate such a thing, but I am interested in the physics of getting super-low frequencies out of small speakers with clever engineering. I e-mailed the guy; hopefully he will post some specifics here.
What do you guys think? Typical "revolutionary" bunkum? Or clever physics?
