My home noodling rig is a homebrew short scale J, and a Korg Bass Pandora into cheap headphones. Perfect for "TV volume at 0 with subtitles on" watching of foreign horror movies.
My home rig is either of my basses, one of my regular gigging amps, maybe the TH500, and a Barefaced One10. Great tone in a small package.
I sold my one10 to fund a Super Midget. While the Midget is way more powerful and yields heaps of usability outside of my house where the one10 would be too small, I miss that little cabinet for its glorious bedroom sound. You can make it sound like a big amp that's driven hard at very civil volume levels. Hands down the best practice/bedroom cabinet I ever laid ears on.
That Squier looks awesome. How do you find the mute? Use it much?

My home rig is a Tech21 fly rig to the studio mixer. Doesn't get a lot simpler than that.
Good choice on the BA110v2. It's a great home practice amp!

I like what you've done. I'm a fan of having actual gear at home. It inspires me to practice more. And fiddle with pedals to find a better sound. For home practice at least get a fly rig or a Zoom MS-60B so you can at least sound like you want to sound. Don't skimp on your sound just because you're at home, I say.
Oddly, with the Labella Flats the bass is already in major Thumpland. I use the Fump additionally to play rockabilly and to get that ol' skool upright bass sounds. It's quite nice for that.
Scott, what else would a Fly rig or zoom give me that my existing pedals wouldn't? I'm not much of a modulation and fancy effects guy at all. The Ehx Mod11 is actually from my guitar pedalboard I just use the phaser, chorus n filter on it sparingly and the Dirt pedal for fun and the rest to shape my mostly ol skool tones.

Maybe you misunderstand. I don't think you need a fly rig or a Zoom pedal. You've already done what you need to get a "real" sound at home. Others who forgo effects at home, those folks should at least get a fly rig or zoom if they aren't going to do what you have done.
