A (sort of) buzzard: first bass build

This is my first project. These are the only pictures I have now, the cardboard template has since been straightened out and properly measured. I also already have a fretboard. I thought I would make a sharper, more angular version of JE's buzzard bass. Here is the list of things it is made of or going to be constructed off:

-Ash body
-maple neck with ebony fretboard
-pickups(undecided)
-the body color is most likely going to be black
-pickguard: I am not sure what do about this yet, other than that most of everything else is planned out.

Looks sweet dude! I been thinking of making my first build either a buzzard or Exploiter. This is seriously leaning me towards buzard, and it is only a cutout. I hope it all goes well for you!
