Yea i cant believe this thread is this long. the people here seem to hate me, And im not to happy with a few of them.
im not going to post here unless a good question comes up,
I am selling my pos kay, yes i just called it that and it deserves that name for its condition. And I am getting another bass. END OF SUBJECT
I dont care how "nice" you think my bass is. A luthier turned it down, my fellow class mates dont like it. My teacher wont even touch it. Even a bass maker and bow maker, who is a good friend, turned down my offer of $300 for it.
Dont like kays, probably never will unless in excellent condition, and is a CLASSICAL instrument.
Welcome to the forum. These are good people...
First, ask for help. Second, take the help.
Ignore it at your peril...
I've lost. Go do what you will with your piece of American history. See if I care if you lose money and make another bass player really happy. With your level of ignorance, it really doesn't belong in your hands anyways.

It has been sitting in standing water for at least a week, and has suffered from the water damage, and wont hold a glue.

LISTEN UP!
I've played Brandon's bass because we go to the same high school and I must say it is a fine sounding bass. It has a few dings in the trimming, but its nothing to scream over I mean its still great looking.
haha try selling my bass for more than $1000, and I will sell my belongings, to buy somthing stupid. I have had the bass for about 2 years. Before me, it was the origional owner who hated it soo much and couldnt sell it because of the shape it was in. He gave it to me for free. He had it in his basement when Katrina hit in New Orleans. Flooded everything, and bass was ruined, But it dried out and was somewhat playable. The strings on it right now are original.
Its a piece of expensive nice crap. Sound is not right, bass is falling apart. and cant be fixed to 100%
