abrubtly quitting?

after the other day when he told me half of the stuff didn't happen i made up my mind to quit. So I went & got my gear from his place & told him i quit after i left with my gear. he said he was "groggy" but i thought he was a bit wasted so i did not want to get into it with him right there in his state.

the quitting went badly. i was called names & told i was a bad person & i was a liar. it was weird for sure.

i am pretty sure they cancelled, but i don't care. & there was no way i was giving them my subs number. & my sub was happy to have friday night off (even though he is broke & in music school). i don't want to put anyone i know with those guys.

By watching the photos in your MySpace, I wonder how big (or nutts) this guy has to be in order to threaten you in any way. I for sure wouldn't have the guts (nor the size, nor the need, of course). Glad the situation carried no additional damage.

the drama NEVER ends! so today i got a message from the singers girl, now ex. saying she knows about him hanging on other girls & how all he ever does is party & so on. so now i have him sending more hate mail to me saying that i told his ex that he was cheating & that i am done and it is on. what is happening??? he really said "it's on" too. that was the best part of his message.

no i quit the band, the drama still follows.

everyone else in the band besides the singer said they understood why i quit.
& i had a gig with another band for a long time & i have enough work with them i am not sweating it. i took this gig because i could play anything i wanted at any time.

Sounds like they are threatening you. I suggest getting a new email address/phone number. If it continues file a restraining order.

Print your emails and keep them in a file, it may help if anything escalates.

You're not actually in a band. So you are not really quitting anything. Send them a text and move on with your life.
