Adam Clayton Jazz

Well after selling off my backup and saving for a few months I placed my order for the Adam Clayton jazz. I just could not resist the Sherwood green and block inlays. Being an Irish bass player and having several U2 tunes in our set list I just had bad GAS on this bass since it came out. Any others out there with this bass. I know it's pretty much a fancy American standard but it just looks so cool and was overcome by the GAS attack.

Will do. I should have it in a week. I placed the order at my local shop, they sell a lot of Fender gear and good to keep the business in my town. I will have a full report once I get my hands on it. They have free set up and adjustments for 90 days so it will be a dream to play. I will also post some pic's.

My band plays ONE by U2. Cool song for bass but I wish we could do PRIDE, which I consider to be one of their best rowdy songs. Enjoy the bass!

I must say that as a signature bass, Adam Clayton's for me would be down somewhere with a Pete Wentz signature, but this one is a great color combo and in that regard is at least different than other American Standards. I would definitely rock that b*tch!!!!

I would love to get one. Finally getting a chance to see U2 this spring!
I've heard their new album hasn't received the best reviews but I've really enjoyed it and tones Adam gets are incredible.

Picked up my Adam Clayton Jazz last week and use it for the 1st gig last night. What better way to break in a new green bass then at a St. Patrick's Day party. I am very happy with my new bass. It sounds and looks fantastic. My number one first impression is the fretboard feel and really love the vintage frets. The built is custom shop quality. Had many compliments on the bass thru the night. Very happy and is my new #1.
