Ads in threads

Hi, I’m a supporter member and signed in. Are the ads within threads an error or the new normal?

I was thinking the same thing. There are ads everywhere for me, including inside the threads. I really hope this isn't the way this site is going.

For me there’s an ad on every thread page after the fourth post.

iPhone user here too. Same thing. Ads on every page. If not paying close attention, some look to be part of a post.

Nothing is set in stone right now, just testing out the ad density and what results we can get. I can hide that ad after post 4 for Supporters. Gold supporters should see no ads at all.

It’s unpleasant from my point of view.

Honestly this is one of the few places I spend time at online because I’m not constantly being sold something through ads. If that changes I think it might change my willingness to support the site when it comes time to renew. I wish you luck making the site more profitable but it’s a bit of a bummer.

I became a Gold Supporter because it's not expensive at all for this great forum.
