That actually makes a lot of sense. Bands in their prime are listened to by young people, who don't have any money. "Older" people, who had a decent career, whose kids have left their house, and said house has been fully paid for by now - these people are now paying premium to see their favorite band from when they were young, which they never got the chance to see before and which might not be touring for much longer, either.Yeah, I agree with others. $5k for a concert (especially for bands decades past their prime) is for people in an income bracket or state of delusion that I do not understand.
