Aguilar DB 751

I've been saving up for an Aggie head and estimated that by fall I could get one, but after reading these posts, I just ordered a DB750. Even though the 751 sounds interesting, I was concerned that it wouldn't sound the same. Especially since on their website they said it did, which I interpritted that it actually may not. I miised out on an original Ampeg SVT and bought an SVT-VR, which was suppossed to sound the same. But it didn't, and I didn't wanna miss out again IMO

Why don't they make a DB758? that is: a mix of a DB680 with a DB750 power section. I use the DB680 a lot! but i am bummed that I use it through a crown XTi power amp. I get the feeling that the crowd is getting a better sound then I do !

Brando, when are you getting me an endorsement? :D

When you stop using products with the word "Phat" in them. Kidding, of course. I will be out in your neck of the woods towards the end of the month for some shows. I will have the DB751 w/ a DB412 in tow. You should come demo it. Soundcheck party!

For sure man. I'll grab erik and feldy if they can get away from the studio. I'd love to hear the 751 and the 412.
