I onced tried a DB924 on my Fender Jaco fretless bass and was really impressed by the sound. Now that the Tone Hammer seems to work with double bass piezo, I'm eager to get one.

Guodi(Lionathena at bbs) has got a Tone Hammer, you can try his. And he told me it can use batteries, too.

Actually, the Tone Hammer eats PB&J, an apple, and likes those little packs of goldfish. Oh, wait....that's my lunch!

The battery life of the Tone Hammer is about 100 hours, as good or much better than similar products.

Wow that is great!

Gotta stick up for the guys at bass central and clarify my original statement. They told me that in general 18v pedals eat batteries and they hadn't tried the tone hammer yet to see. Didn't mean to mar the good name of your products!

I ordered one from Best bass gear yesterday. I'll report when it gets here.

I also plan to do sounclips and compare the DI out to my other DI's (JDI, DB900, EBS Micro Bass II and Shuttle 6.0 di-out). Should be fun.

I too got the power supply. The price was good so why not.

Mine came in yesterday and I'm blown away. I replace a SansAmp BDDI with the Tone Hammer and I'm glad I did. Only had a few hours to tinker but I got everything from crisp clear slap to death metal dirt. Seems to be very flexible with tones and was well worth the money.

A question for the aggie reps here. How would you suggest me running the TH with my 500sc? I'm running a carl martin comp, an ebs bass wah, and an old school A/DA flanger as well. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Tell us more. The SansAmp BDDI [deluxe version?] has six presets, no?

Is only one [at a time] really happening ToneHammer sound better than all that?

I mean, the SansAmp sounds good; does the ToneHammer kill that much more?
