I don't know about Jive Sound, but with bestbassgear, they're being offered first come first serve based on the order that email notification requests were received.

I don't know if you were making a joke (hard to tell with plain text sometimes), but he meant "blew up" in the sense of "got a huge explosion of popularity and hype", not in the sense of mechanical failure.

OH! Ok, I have to admit to being clueless here. I thought the thing was going to explode, burst into flames, Ka Blooey,you know?

The huge explosion of popularity does happen every time I play my bass through it. I love it more and more and so do my band members, so I guess he is right.

I ended up getting mine this afternoon, from Planet Bass.

They've still got at least one.

I used it in rehearsal tonight, and let me just say.... "holy crap, holy crap, holy crap."

I running on little to no sleep, as I spent almost 9 hours driving today. I'll post more clear/concise thoughts on it later. Probably in a new thread.

I just paid for the last one Bass Central is getting in on Tuesday. They've got 5 more on the way though after that. I haven't kept much track of this until now... I just wanted to have an OBP-3 in an outboard package. I won't be using the overdrive any... but hopefully it will impress!
