Aguilar Tone Hammer

My question is: (and it may be too early to get an answer) How quiet is the DI? I'm really happy with the AG500 DI, but since I don't even use a cab at church, this would be a much easier transport. I've had other "not so quiet" DIs in the past. Granted, they weren't Aguilar...

I would guess it will be pretty good. I too am excited about this box. If it is as good as the speculation, I might sell my current DI's in exchange for this. I am going to wait till the reviews pour in before I make a jump though.

I think standard headphone impedence is 32ohms, but don't quote me on that.

This footswitchable preamp/DI features 3 bands of EQ with sweepable midrange, an XLR output selectable for "Pre" or "Post" EQ, and our new AGS Circuit (Adaptive Gain Shaping). AGS allows the player to boost the gain into clipping by stepping on a footswitch. As you turn up the gain knob the EQ shape adapts to the amount of gain - tightening up the low end and smoothing out the highs - to give you a wide range of overdriven sounds. 18 volt operation gives this pedal plenty of headroom to reproduce the dynamic range of a demanding musician."

No. It doesn't affect sustain. I think of it like a better Sansamp BDDI. Cleaner, warmer, more tonal control, and a better DI.
