Here’s a good one for you all. (You can’t make this stuff up, I swear.)

So, at Friday night’s gig this older loudmouth type fella’ starts hollering requests from across the patio. Small place, maybe 20 ppl., tops. He didn’t appear to be drunk, just obnoxious.
“Play some Santana!” (We’re an oldies band) “Do you know any Cream?”

Bad enough, but here’s the kicker- he yells to our drummer, “Why don’t you take the pads off your sticks? You should play louder, I can’t hear you!” We all look at each other, confused. Huh?

Drummer’s using regular, nylon tip sticks.

Even better- he comes up to us on break and eventually reveals why he felt entitled to share his opinions with us- HE’S A CLUB OWNER!!

Too bad you can't go to his club and start screaming from the back how he should run his business. I mean, you could, but his servers don't deserve that treatment; he does.

But could you see it? Him working the floor, managing the bar and tables and entertainment, and every time he does something he hears from across the club...
"Don't seat them there! Three people belong at a 4 top!"
"Don't pour beer. Mix some cocktails!"
"Why are you serving American food? Cook French food!"
"The gazpacho is cold! Make it hot!"
"Tell the classic rock band you booked to play Lady Gaga!"
