Albums that you consider "perfect"...

The most "perfect" album - for being what it is - to me is "Victorialand" by the Cocteau Twins. I can't remember when it came out - late 80s or very early 90s. My only complaint is that it's too short.

Failure- Fantastic Planet
Refused- Shape Of Punk To Come
Brand New- The Devil & God Are Raging Inside Of Me
Rush- Moving Pictures
Led Zeppelin- II
At The Drive In- Relationship Of Command
Minus The Bear- Menos El Oso/OMNI
Glassjaw- EYWTKAS/Worship &Tribute
Iron Maiden-Seventh Son of A Seventh Son
Journey- Frontier(s)
Jawbreaker- Dear You
Circa Survive- (everything)
Codeseven- The Rescue

umm.... I am done (for now)

'Synchronicity' - Police
'Word of Mouth' - Jaco Pastorius

Mt. Helium - Faces
Failure - Fantastic Planet
Pure Reason Revolution - The Dark Third
Tomahawk - Mit Gas
Mr. Bungle - California

Between the Buried and Me - Colors
Mastodon - Crack the Skye
Yes - Close to the Edge
Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Pat Metheny Group - Imaginary Day
Tool - 10,000 Days

Those are all the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I listen through them front to back and never wish they'd done anything different with any of the songs.

Crack the Skye is EPIC.

Guess there are a lot of perfect albums!
Anyway,

Gentle Giant "The Power And The Glory"
Mark Knopfler "Sailing To Philadelphia"
Spirit "Twelve Drams of Dr. Sardonicus"

Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus --Spirit

Thanks for honoring the "Spirit" and truly one of the greatest albums ever recorded.
Randy California, Mark Andes, Jay Ferguson, John Locke, Ed Cassidy.

...snip...

+4 for Twelve Dreams of Dr Sardonicus. The expanded new CD doesn't add anything, as the 12 dreams were a total concept of their own. Vocals, instrumental guitar work, orchestration, bass work and arrangements are all
outstanding.
