don't seem to be alerting

I see multiple threads I am interested in, yet they don't show up after I have clicked them

This has been happening to me for months. And I've got both click things happening on multiple threads missing multiple alerts. I posted about it here, got an answer but it didn't solve the issue. I just gave up!

It's not that big of a deal ... i just click on watched threads every so often, and they're in there.

Edit: not eMail alerts, just regular ^

Is there a way to disable the persistent notifications? I looked through all the preferences and I didn't see an option anymore.

Click on the thread you're getting notified for, and click 'unwatch thread'

I still want to get notified just not 7 times in a row for the same thread while i'm looking at my other alerts.

Oh, gotcha. I notice sometimes the way the notifications come in changes. Ideally, we want one notification for all posts after we last visited

Ok, you now have the option in your Alert Prefs to disable persistent alerts. Just uncheck it here: https://www.talkbass.com/account/alert-preferences



I'm working on a more intuitive solution (perhaps a time delay to prevent too many alerts on busy threads).
