I see the Alert section in my personal details, but I can't find any instructions on how to create an alert. For example, I'd like to receive an email when "precision neck" exists in the title of a new post in the "For Sale: Parts, Strings, and Accessories" forum. Is that possible? Thanks!

I was visiting Invalid Link Removed and noticed that for their "Active Topics", when mousing over a thread title, a info balloon popped up with the first line of the thread post. Very helpful in determining if the thread is one you want to read or post in.

The other day I started getting alerts from threads that I haven't checked in a long time, and I am still getting alerts from threads that I haven't checked/read. Is anyone else having this problem? I didn't... I don't think I changed any settings prior to this happening.
