I know they make one. I read it right after I pre-ordered the unit. Just found it a little odd it wasn't in the box. No big deal. I wouldn't have even looked at it had it been in there.

My Musicians Friend Pre Order wasn't shipping until May. Noticed that zzounds.com has it in stock. Cancelled my MF pre order and ordered from zzounds. Two Day shipping was only $6.95 so I should have it Friday.
Marko that's great to hear! Now I can retire my Bass Attack. Mine will be arriving tomorrow. I'm going to fire it up through my power amp-in on my PF500. I'm looking to use the SCR-DI at church in place of my Bass Attack as a DI going "post" to FOH.
What I really wanted out of the SCR-DI...and the other 2 was the overdrive. I really hated that the EQ of the Hartke was always active, even if the pedal wasn't engaged. And I didn't care for the pedal's color. And I used a HA3500 for 10 years. The EFX had a massive mid bump that was just not what I was looking for.
I really do think this Ampeg unit is a great piece of gear. The tone is 100% Ampeg. The SCR is great and I love the practice amp features. The fact that it's battery powered is the icing on the cake.

Nope, I bailed halfway through last night when Turbo Tax demanded I upgrade in order to finish my taxes, and I have to work the next two nights. Sorry man. But I assure you that Dino's got more coming from Ampeg...he already shot the vids...they just have to be edited and posted.Did you get your taxes done Jimmy?

For those who aren't running it through an Ampeg amp do you feel like you can get close to both a B-15 and SVT sound? Closer say, than with a VT Deluxe?
Turbo tax makes you upgrade before you can finish? Had you already paid them for the software?
It's a free upgrade. They're gearing you up to pay more next year. Happened to me a couple nights ago. It's a pretty quick process. Pissed me off when I saw it until I saw the word "FREE". Might try something different next year just for spite.
After a shakedown run I'm prepared to say this thing RULES. It's perfect for what I was looking for. Nice Ampeg tones with an OD circuit. Perfect practice box for me. Love the battery power, the aux in and the phone out.

Okay, cool. Thanks. So are you using the tone stack on the SCRDI, or the one on your SVT?
since their is an internal -15 db switch, i think they should come come with a manual.http://www.ampeg.com/pdf/manuals/SCR-DI_OM.pdf
I use the tone stack on the SCR-DI to match the sound when bypassed. Gets pretty close IMHO, except it adds a speaker sim.
