View attachment 597756 Mine just arrived today. I was the first one to pre-order through musicians friend. Had limited time with it but I was very impressed. Hooked it up to my rig tweaked the setting and stomped on the scrambler, transformed my PEAVEY combo into an SVTesq rig. Can't wait to play this thing with the band.

For me the size is fine, and there's color indicating in tune or out of tune too so I think it's visible enough. Sometimes bigger is better though.

Note the mini does not run on battery, in case that is a concern.

how many mxr phase 90's would you say it is?

My only real issue with the pedal is that you have to take the back off of it to get to the passive/active "switch". Which isn't really a switch. Wish there was just a switch on the outside of the box. Other than that, no complaints at all. The thing sounds great!

Well I knew it was too good to be true. Does anyone else notice a high pitch noise/squeal when you have headphones plugged in to it. Gets real bad when you turn the treble up. Looks like I will be putting in a call to musicians friend on Monday to get a replacement unit.

did a comparison between the SCR DI and the VT v2 last night. i noticed the SCR was "pointier" if that makes sense. The VT had a lot more weight to the notes. It also sat wider in the mix. The SCR did have a nice brightness but i felt like it was just skinnier sounding than the VT.

I already have made the comparo...you trade a measure of versatility in the VT for much higher ease of use in the SCR-DI, but the tones are comparable IMHO.

Jimmy do you agree with rowdyraul's assesment of the SCR-DI vs. VT as it relates to VT notes having more weight?

I don't know...I think there might be settings in it that come across that way, but I don't use those settings

I usually boost bass and mids up to around 1:00, treble around 10:00.
