I'm going to freak out if I see/hear another demo of this unit while using a pick. Everything bass that is a demo should be fingers first through all tones. If they want to add pick, slap, tap, etc after that is fine but seriously...show the instrument some respect. Fingers always come first.

Agreed, in fact for me this should apply to most dirt demos as well, but it seems like alot of guitarist think they can play bass or whatever, 2 less strings right??!! No biggie LOL!!

It's either a pick or alot of slapping it seems like, drives me nuts as I never use a pick...

I actually just cancelled the pre-order. They got a hold of me and I guess their initial shipment is SOLD OUT and aren't expecting the next one until June. I'll check some reviews and probably find the nearest store to try it out/purchase if I can't find it online.

The feet are a little troublesome if you put it on a pedalboard with velcro, yes, but I went to the hardware store and got screws and it's fine now.

Jimmy's pedalboard looks epic once he figured out a way to fit that big boy on his board. I am supposed to get mine Tuesday but I think it will stay in my studio. No room on my pedalboard because all the space is taken up by my wireless and tuner. At some point I do want to use it live for a boost. I know I could find a boost pedal by itself but I wanted the SCR-DI for my studio and might as well use it live once I have it.

Yeah I took a foot with me to the hardware store, matched it up with a nut to find the appropriate size screw and thread. 8/32 machine.

LOL! That crazy board? I already dismantled it, scaled back on a couple of pedals, got small versions of a couple pedals, and now it looks way too nice and tidy But I'm still in a state of flux with my board that's not likely to end anytime soon, so who knows? There's hope for it to become a ridiculous mess again.

Send us a pic of the new board when you can. I actually considered going to the polytune mini pedal so I could fit the SCR-DI but I already have a TU-2 & TU-3. Can't convince myself to purchase another tuner haha.

Considering getting one of these but wondering how the volume balance is when switching OD on and off? I'm thinking it would have been nice to have a separate level knob in the Scrambler section.

To me it comes off as unity gain, so you won't lose volume but you won't gain any either.

I hear you. It wasn't cheap, either, and I totally hate spending money on tuners. I got it for like $76 at GC Winter Park. But now that I have a tuner that's super accurate, I'm loving it!

Did you end up getting a polytune Nano? I am interested to see how people like them (I will do a thread search). Considered giving my TU-2 to the guitarist/singer in a trio I play with. He has one of those headstock tuners and it drives me nuts because it takes him forever to tune in the middle of a set. It's so beat up I would maybe get $20-25 for it so looks like it will be a donation to help improve the out of tune guitarists fund.
