Did you end up getting a polytune Nano? I am interested to see how people like them (I will do a thread search). Considered giving my TU-2 to the guitarist/singer in a trio I play with. He has one of those headstock tuners and it drives me nuts because it takes him forever to tune in the middle of a set. It's so beat up I would maybe get $20-25 for it so looks like it will be a donation to help improve the out of tune guitarists fund.

I have the Polytune mini Noir. I dig it. It works great and its pretty quick and accurate. And small, which is a huge plus for me. Big bright LED screen too. The only bad side for me in particular is when I tune I get some noise. Just a little bit. But I think its because I have it on a 1spot chain with a handful of other pedals on a board that has a lot of other pedals powered variously. So itll most likely be fine with most peoples.

The full name is the TC Polytune 2 Mini Noir Had to get noir, as it's cooler than blanc. I don't get the noise Greg gets, but otherwise I'd agree with his review.

I have a Polytune2 Noir on one board, it's very good. No noise problem.

I just have the regular polytune2, and it's great. It's also silent when tuning, and doesn't kill my tone when I'm not tuning, so it's perfect.

i had some soft static type noise introduced whilst tuning when powering my polytune noir from a pedaltrain volto, no such problems using my Gigrig generator+distributor

My apologies for the temporary thread derail, but I need to ask why both Zoom pedals on the board have dedicated cabling to their micro USB ports used simply for firmware updates? (Nice board, BTW!)

They are MIDI controlled (program change) using a footswitch and MIDI-to-USB converter from Disaster Area.

I got my SCR-DI in the mail today. I bought it to replace my Sansamp that goes into my computer for recording. Has anyone else noticed that the volume level is very low? I checked the db settings and it's normal and I'm using a passive bass. I currently have the volume at 3 o'clock where my sansamp used to be maybe at 10 o'clock and be very loud.

Unity gain should be right around the noon mark on the volume dial. It's not got an insane amount of gain past that, but it should have a reasonable amount, certainly enough to overdrive your DAW and make your recordings sound real good and crappy But your volume depends on a lot more than just the volume knob. Like adding overdrive and changing your EQ can affect your gain. And I don't know about any other Sansamps, but with the VT, to do a clean sound, your volume knob will be pretty cranked to get up to unity gain.

Mine just arrived today. I was the first one to pre-order through musicians friend. Had limited time with it but I was very impressed. Hooked it up to my rig tweaked the setting and stomped on the scrambler, transformed my PEAVEY combo into an SVTesq rig. Can't wait to play this thing with the band.

After playing with mine for a day in my opinion the tone I can get is much better than the SansAmp BDDI. I have never tried the VT Bass so I can't compare with that. For the Scrambler I'm not a huge fan. I would rather have made the pedal smaller and removed that function. I do appreciate the time Ampeg put into this to really figure out what a bassist would want live and practicing at home. The headphones output, aux in (1/4 & 1/8 inch ports). I wish I could figure out a way to incorporate it into my live rig but I already have an SVT so for now it will stay at home as part of my practice rig.

No real in-depth analysis here, but wow, what an impressive little box of awesome.
