Paid in advance, doesn't drive so you have to pick him and his gear up or the band pays for his Uber. Does this strike anyone else as slightly narcissistic?They must be beating a path to his door.

I reckon the 'needing-a-ride' part would be a problem, but if I was a BL needing a bass player who knew what he was doing, I'd consider at least calling him to audition.
