Yeah, "unique" is a word for it...That's, um, a unique thing to do with a $4000 custom![]()

GOD I love this bass. Without a doubt my favourite Singlecut shape next to a Benavente SCD. Wonder if he would make it in a 5 string...
Not $4k... and Rev planned on doing that from it's very inception. That's why it was build with a flat top
The single Bart in the sweetspot sounded excellent. It's also a passive setup.
Good eye but no... the bass that Kevin Walker was playing was his purpleburst Brubaker Xtreme 5. I think there might be a pic of it in a recent Bass Player magazine.
Thanks for clearing that up. I saw that bass and had a hard time recognizing it. Kevin wasn't lit very well and the bass was dark, so I couldn't really make out the headstock or body shape. When I opened up and saw that picture it all came together though.
Are those pics of his girlfriend or wife? They don't appear to be "girlie" pics. I've gotta check out this guy's music- looks the part of a punk with the tats, hair, and pick, but is playing a five-string fretless.

This is my favorite so far. There are alot of other great one's on here, but for some reason, I'm drawn to this one.
Nice!!Hi
This is a work in progress but you get the idea.

Many thanks guys.
There is just a little more carving to be done on the heck heel and the usual pile of sanding then of to be sprayed. It is hard to tell from the pics but the fret board has semi-tone markers in it in pear wood. The fingerboard is acrylic impregnated birdseye/fleck maple from Larry at Gallery. The hardware will be in black Hipshot type a and ultralites with my own pickups and pre-amp.
Cheers
Alan
Hi
Much as I would like to send this bass to you I sold it at the weekend.
I don't think the new owner would be very happy with me if I sent it of to the US, and I like to have happy customers.
