the tone shaping is done with the hands, i pretty much always play on the bridge pickup in passive and apart from messing with the passive tone control i dont touch any controls.

in its simplest form you play over the neck for a rounder tone and over the bridge for a punchier tone and then of course it is all how you touch the string, and a bass like that can pick up every bit of what you do.

What he said :D

I don't miss the endless knob twiddling at all on this bass.

I still have others with the twiddly bits too, in fact another one is an imminent arrival. I will post when it gets to me :)

Cheers

I've always been the odd one out in that I've never liked the look of the AJ singlecut at all. Sorta like I'm the only person I know who hates OfficeSpace :D

THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU.
i didn't want to be the first one to say it. Im talking about the AJ, not officespace (which is a classic, IMO).

TO be completely honest, Im not a big fan of a few of the Fodera singlecuts for some reason. The AJ, the beez and the Matt Garrison to be specific. There is just something weird about the shapes that doesn't sit right with me.

Very Nice Work Bud!! That is probably my favorite bass design Bud has done. The detail look killer in the pictures.

Look forward to seeing it complete!

Here's a better pic. The original design is actually mine. Bud did add a little technical re-working to make it flow a little smoother though.
