All Things Must Beat. Share Anything Beatles!!

It look as if the picture was a model for the album cover.

More likely it was vice versa. 3299 - SIGNED "REVOLVER" PRINT BY ERIC CASH - LIMITED EDITION OF 66 PRINTS - McCartney Times

Claus Voorman did the cover how cool.

I didn’t know this thanks for the link @G-Dog .
“Voormann, who'd moved to London, worked for three weeks in his tiny attic apartment. He used pen and black ink to create four large line drawings of the Beatles. He then combined the drawings with a collage of black and white photos taken by Bob Whitaker…”

I wonder who filled in the black and white line drawing that Vormann did with color that @beans-on-toast posted?

Voorman got $140 for his cover work lol!

I saw a link to a YouTube video and it looked like they were gonna be unfair to the guys. So I clicked on the video fully expecting to put a comment in their defending them and ended up laughing my arse off. It’s very well done lol.
Thought you folks would enjoy it to!

LOL! This puts the MANIA in Beatlemania!?! The lads were confident of their tightness, when circumstances allowed. Otherwise, when the inevitable live diffugalties occurred, they just rolled with the punches and the ensuing mayhem! And occasionally forgetting the lyrics just confirms their humanity! But it's no wonder they got tired of having things thrown at them and the crowds jostling them around.

Great find, Michael! Thanks for sharing.

I just read in Philip Norman's biography of Paul that Paul initially offered Yoko the job of directing the footage which ended up as the "Let it Be" and "Get Back" documentaries. He presumably did this to show John that he respected Yoko... and to keep her busy. :smug:
Yoko, an avant-garde filmmaker, was insulted and she declined such a commercial project!
Speaking of "Get Back", I could go on for hours about it-- it's miraculous. But since this is TB, how about when John admits that he can't sing and play bass at the same time? Yeah!! Or when Paul finally agrees to Glyn Johns' repeated requests that he use the Rickenbacker instead of the Hofner, and then states that he honestly has no idea what all the knobs do? Great stuff, and when you see his creative process throughout the film, it confirms how "unconscious" and "magical" his composing is. Music flows through him.

I’m looking forward to this!
I’m sure I must be wrong so correct me if I am. But Paul has not done an album with other musicians since Wings? He has a great band now. Always wanted to see him take them in to the studio and record something! But the albums he’s put out since Wings have been him playing everything.
Im sure there must be some exceptions but for the most part it’s him writing and playing all the instruments. But I’ve not followed his solo work post Wings very closely so I could be completely wrong?
But to me this would be cool if for nothing else to see what he does with other people once again.

I'm wondering why it was so difficult to find this thread. First I searched by Beatles in the title. I thought such an active page would be easier to find.

But then I just came to miscellaneous and just scrolled through each page until I saw it.

Well, this a fairly old thread, in innerweb years, so it was probably so far down in your search list that you overlooked it.

But the All Things Must Beat. Share Anything Beatles wiki page is a bit newer. Did you find that? :smug:

I just don't understand how the search on this site works. I thought it would bring newer threads to the top.

I can't navigate it either.

Try googling: site:talkbass.com Beatles

or for this thread, use quotes: site:talkbass.com “All things must beat”

I find that google does a far better job when I want to search for something on talkbass.
