its amazing. I've never played an EGC Bass, so I can't compare it to that, but I do have an EGC guitar with the buzzo neck and an RGI guitar neckHow does the neck play, with it only being .700 and all?
I guess my only other question would be is the neck hollow?its amazing. I've never played an EGC Bass, so I can't compare it to that, but I do have an EGC guitar with the buzzo neck and an RGI guitar neck
the RGI is a little thicker but it stays in tune much better.
Also, traditionally, I never like P basses because the necks are too wide and too chunky, but I don't mind the RGI at all!
Robot Graves necks are milled from solid pieces of aluminum and are not hollow.I guess my only other question would be is the neck hollow?
I read on their FAQ page that the thicker neck depths are hollow (.85") so I'm assuming that because the bass necks are the same thickness that'd be the caseRobot Graves necks are milled from solid pieces of aluminum and are not hollow.
Also I'm 99% sure that all of EGC's bolt-on offerings are solid as well, though their neck throughs are hollow.
Just sent Alex @ Robot Graves an email asking for official verification, will report back with his response.I read on their FAQ page that the thicker neck depths are hollow (.85") so I'm assuming that because the bass necks are the same thickness that'd be the case
You might have just sold me on an RGI neck as wellOfficial response- all of RGI's necks are solid billet, one piece
Also, super quick response time on their part— don't hesitate to contact them directly if you have any further questions!
Honestly I think I was his largest pita of a customer and he still sold me two necks. You might have just sold me on an RGI neck as well![]()
