Right - that body is routed/drilled out for the bass bridge put on the American Standard/Professionals since 2007.

Well, your book is certainly less expensive than the Fender Precision USA body that we have been discussing above! Seriously, that's quite an accomplishment. They say everyone has at least one book in them. I have perhaps a chapter at the moment, but perhaps one day a (small) book.

The book is printed on demand, so there aren't any sitting in inventory. This past weekend I sold more books than I ever have in a weekend (39), and then they dropped the price. They've dropped the price in the past though when I was just selling 1 or 2 a day. So I really don't understand how that works.

As for the reviews, a handful are from acquaintances who picked up the book. I had a few family members do reviews, but Amazon picks up on that pretty quickly and deletes them. They check isp addresses, last names, credit cards, home addresses, etc. A lot of the reviews though are completely anonymous, meaning I have no clue who posted them. Just got one the other day that blew me away completely, and for some reason it wound up on the second page. I wish it popped up first. It's the one posted on Aug. 26.

I'm really happy, and grateful about the way this book is going. I hate promoting (like putting the posts I do here), but I have to put my feelings on the shelf with that. I'm really glad that people seem to truly be getting something out of the book. The book is sincere. It was motivated by a desire to help people, not make money - and the fact that it's making a little money now is, well... pretty awesome. Anyhow, there's a "Look Inside" section that offers a huge chunk of the book for free. Anyone is welcome to check it out and see if the book would be helpful or inspiring in any way...

@japhy4529 , thanks. And yes, it seems this may have been my one book, hoping for second but we'll see. If you ever need help with getting the book off the ground, PM me. I'd be happy to give you a push and little guidance if needed. Self publishing isn't as difficult as I thought, and it can be done on a 0 budget. Like anything else though, if you throw a few bucks into it, you'll have a much better product.

I don't see it as promotion BTW, I see it as one of our own being proud of his accomplishment, as well you should be.

Hey I was piddling with my Amazon account and I guess since I bought the paperback version of the book by our own @Joe Nerve a while back they notified me that the digital version is a BUCK!!! Kindle I guess? Seriously, one dollar.

It really is a good book. The "intended audience" is not the only kind of person who can benefit from it. For a buck, it's worth a shot. Heck, for a buck buy it of you don't even read it to support a fellow TBer. But if you get into the (really short) chapters there's some great information in it.
