I wish I had something more elaborate or clever... basically, when I'm at the pedalboard, I usually don't have any synths going, and vice versa. When they are together (like on several points on my album), it's usually because I laid down something with one on the multitrack and felt inspired to play over it with the other.

Okay, this gets more bizarre as it goes on. Does this just happen with everyone who's lucky enough to get something on soma.fm or did I actually do something right, here? Serious question, not humblebragging.

I saw Orbital at a Lollapalooza years ago (97 I think) and hadn't heard of them before that. They played last, and most of the audience left by then because they were there for other bands (especially Tool, Korn, and Snoop). We stayed for Orbital though, and it was awesome. Absolutely awesome set.

Anyone here on the list for a Chase Bliss Gen Loss 2?
Pre sale only in the USA.
It’s actually the 1st one of from them that has me very intrigued.
Real time tape “pseudo mastering” of my tracks, yes please.

Also I really think I’m losing the battle with my ct5, I have yet to create something that’s even worth sharing as an experiment.
The “no tail” is really a bummer for me as a live effect pedal.

Also fretless goes to the luthier tomorrow, still on the fence between my usual C standard tuning or changing things up by tuning down to A standard.

ct5 is really tricky. I have to just barely add it in to get decent results, typically. I’ve lucked out on a couple recordings with it, but never had the nerve to try using it live

Probably need a “talent simulator” in the signal chain in my case.
I’ll try other weird stuff with, if nothing good happens I’ll let it sleep a few weeks/months before having another go at the ct5.

but dang I would like a “tails” mode for live mangling, it’s really a shame.
Must be a minor firmware adjustment, but they seem pretty set on what’s already on the pedal

would be the perfect tool for me to make on the spot tape masters of my tracks.
So much time would be needed for that process it’s nuts. My kind of painful, slow and low reward kind of thing.

Lyra plus Gen Loss would be a killer combo IF!!! done right imo

Yeah, I use it mostly as a wacky delay…not really by choice, it just usually winds up that way :)
