Ambient/Post-Rock/Textural bass playing thread

I don't think I'm cut out for this this thing where I have more Eurorack modules than rack space. Inertia and Marbles are out right now and I itch to put them back in but don't want to pull anything else either.
So I ordered a MyVolts USB power cable for my Pod60, figuring that would make it easier to float it in and out of active duty, either with a big battery or just plugging it into my hub.
But I'm also kind of thinking about the Minibrute 2S. I like its character but that space could fit a Mantis or similar Eurorack case... I should probably not be thinking this way.

I feel that. This weekend I put a bunch of unused modules in a suitcase just to store them out of the way. They're kind of a PITA to sell off, but I think that is eventually what will happen. For usability I'm trying to stick to 6U/104hp.

sounds like eurorack to me
I’ve never tried one, but I’ve heard nothing but glowing comments about them. Can’t remember why I chose the Squarp Rample over that, but they both seem to have unique strengths. If money and learning curve were no issue, I’d have the Assimil8or for sure. Not only the best eurorack sampler out there, but in many ways, the best sampler, period. Learning curve looks a tad daunting though :/
Had a eurorack noodle day today. Used the Oxi One sequencer, which is amazing and integrates really well with eurorack. I still need to sit down and really learn it, but it’s very cool. I mainly used my Rample and Instruo Arbhar, with silly amounts of modulation and several verbs/delays, also heavily modulated. The Arbhar is insane. Anything from dreamy ambient texture to crazy glitched out crap
I love it on drums enough that I’m likely selling my Data Bender

I have bad news for you. I got to try one out in April. It sounds fantastic, and it is WAY easier to use than it looks to be.
It’s not discipline, it’s more like a reaction to overload.

Its not a looper as far as I know. And it needs a lot of CV.
That is the highest state of Eurorack.
My Fractal FM9 arrived shockingly fast. I was at work all day and my wife was like “is it something fun?” Yes, I hope so.
