If I remember correctly this one sounds awesome.
I’d have to re listen to some clips to confirm my aging memory.

3leaf and Iron Ether prices atm are completely ridiculous.
Now it’s gonna be an internet fist fight to get those few pedals from 3leaf.
Like the Broughton cult.
off lawn now
yeah that’s part of my issue… I had a polytope that I bought off reverb for about stock price some 5 or so years ago!! IE / 3 leaf is silly pricing and near unobtainable locally in aus…
I was using the lpf in the kangra fuzz / filter which can be used as the filter statically as well as an auto wah / pseudo wah with expression pedal. It sounded ok but very finnicky about being stacked with other pedals…
Have to see what the non boutique builders have.
Given my ideal mixer to do all of this properly is out of my price range, I'm gonna go the patchbay route, after thinking it over more. Thanks. In short, yes.
Depending on how those inserts are wired, you may need to be cautious re: what type of cables you use. If the inserts are on a single TRS jack where the Send and Receive on on that same jack, you only want the Send, which means you want to use a TS plug and only push it partway into the jack, so that it engages with the Send but doesn;t short out the Return of the jack.
otoh, if the mixer has separate Send and Return jacks, just use the Send jack to feed your pedal, and plug the pedal's output(s) into the input of any other mixer input channels, and Bob's yer uncle.

Gonna regret watching this.
I've tried a few octavers, I've settled on the EBS Octabass. I can get a wicked dubby sub, and it tracks flawlessly.I kinda figure here’s as good a place to ask as any…
I play my fiver set to beadg. I’ve tried some octave stuff over the years (both up and down) and never really had that much use for them except harmony up with distortion sounds massive…
But keep coming back to mini analogue octave down pedals (just so they will fit on my board).
Does anyone here use them for that fake sub / dub sounds or to start a synthy chain sound (ie octaver, fuzz, modulation etc)
I’ve tried the malekko downer, the eqd bit commander, bass whammy, boss ps3…
but keep looking at the mxr vintage bass octave haha![]()
Nah, it's me. I think it's an ugly sound. Hate it. But y'all know my aesthetic preferences so that shouldn't be surprising.
Trade your crazy expensive EI for some crazy overpriced 3leaf stuff, win win.
You inquiring about the ring mod, aren’t you the regular on this thread that loathes ring mods??
links to new pedal?
Imo, the last really cool Red Panda release was the Particle 2.
Ymmv, imo….etc
Unless it’s @Bob_Ross that hates ring mods?
I’m still on team OC-2, but mine is moded with a « kill the dry » switch.don't a lot of people still deify (or clone) the old boss oc-2 for whatever it is? (one wonders if that's what the mxr is.)
apparently there's a whole thread about this:
So What’s The Latest On OC-2 Clones?

Saw that then saw the price.

I think it's just the overall sound of what it does. I've heard a lot of RM's and I've never been "that sounds great." It's just an aesthetic I don't like overall.many do sound really bad. some sound great.
Anyone have experience with their Black spring reverb? Looks interesting. (But mono.)
Watched this demo today. A lot to like.
