Just discovered the band Gnod. This is the most ambient track I’ve heard so far. Otherwise, they have more of a pre 90’s Ministry vibe.
Have you seen the Chase Bliss video where Torn takes his whole rig out by the pool on a rolling cart and starts screwing around with an early Blooper prototype while one of the CBA guys is floating around on an innertube drinking beers?

My huge investment of the day is buying all the sample kits the the DM1 drum machine app for sampling. I big 5$. Yessir!!
Beats looking for a #$%^& clean hi hat sample in my record collection.

I’m currently talking myself out of two dirt pedals. Idiotbox just released a Muff & TS & Rat in one box. You can run them in any combination, in parallel. So dirty.

Wasn’t the Idiotbox Redrum the one knob Rat running into a dimed HM2??
They make good stuff but the MUFF and TS are VERYYYY hit or miss for me. Mostly miss......After years I only found one MUFF circuit I really liked.
What are the RAT variants? My current favorited RAT is by far the MXR M85, it is freakin awesome in a band mix. Better than manny ‘boutique ones I had but won’t mention brands....since some of the builders are on TB.

Wow, lots of possible combos, very unique and cool idea. Might be a bit big for my tast, but whatever..... IMO.....the only “awesome” tone in the hole video was as you said the RAT/MUFF combo. Others, I wasn’t totally blown away....
After trying about....hmmm.....8-10 different ones, on recording sessions and in band settings. For me personally by far the winner is the Wren & Cuff Tall Font Russian. Many others are very cool but always fall short for me.
I don’t mind using another one if the situation calls for it though, play to the song first always!!!!!
I quit while I was ahead and stopped buying Fuzz cuz it truly is a bottomless pit of buying , trying, flipping.....repeat......I got sick of that.
I liked the W&C TFR. I didn't keep it, but I did like it.
That’s what awesome about music, we can all have different tastes and preferences. Would be boring as $%^& if we liked all the same stuff.

(If I had one other Fuzz to get it would be the JAM Red Muck Bass version...holy crap it sounds freakin awesome.....but it is on the very $$$$$$$ side.)
