Don't worry. My pedal boards always look like crap. With electrical tape and extra velcro to hide cables.

All home made on a piece of 17x14.5 of wood with velcro on it. (Size i have available in my nuclear bomb proof case)

But......They are well built and reliable.

It has occurred to me that I've spent a lot of money on pedals and always found an excuse not to spend money on good power. It's a bad habit, like how I know that donut is bad for me but I also know damn well I'm gonna eat it anyway. Time to fix it.

Im primarily a cioks house now. I use a DC7 on my tabletop and a ciokolate on my main board. Have a dc5 and 2 adams that i use on smaller boards. I have had great luck w voodoo supplies in the past but havent really looked back since switching to cioks

Anyone here try the SGFX Lysis? On paper it looks pretty interesting, but the demos haven’t made me want it.
It’s an oct down fuzz with filter and LFO.

Nope. But they make top notch stuff.
The OG beta is one of my all time favorite pedals.

Ill look up the lysis if i can find anything.

Its about 2000$ cad now.

Edit.....we almost got an endorsement deal with solidgoldfx with my old band. It fell through cuz one of the guitar dudes wasnt very cool about it.....(Idiot......)

Listened to the demos.......it’s not that impressive sounding. But it does sound thick.
Just basic sound of dirt plus octave......
The modulation to me sounds.....meh.....

But demos can be deceitful. It could be awesome in a band setting. Lots of boss pedals are meh in demos and absolutely kill live.
Pedal shopping.....the eternal conundrum.......ehhh.......

I thought Night Owl said there was a ring mod effect built in, which could be used like an effect pedal, but no sign of that here.

That thing really makes me think of trogotronic stuff in regards to the buttons to trigger various fx.

Almost everything has reached prices I can't keep up with. I can't even find an affordable delay.

The prices once accross the border are almost double. The tracker would probably be around 1200$ cad delivered to my door.

Ouch! The first preorders on the Tracker have just gone out, so I don’t think one can be had until mid-July. I’m only going to make one purchase this summer and I’m torn between the Tracker and the Moog Subharmonicon. Kinda leaning toward the Tracker, I think

What do you use as a hardware sampler?
(That the tracker could improve upon)

The moog is also an excellent choice of kit.
I imagine it would fit nicely in your modular set up. Hope you don't miss the cwejman too much.

My big purchase today was a set of strings. Tried my jazz in E standard but imo it's just better in a lower tuning.

Chopping Samples in Renoise. It's a nice workflow. Time to see how it stretches and handles other manipulation.

I have an Octatrack, which is a pretty great sampler/sequencer, but the Tracker has some potentially cool features and different workflows can be nice at times.

The Subharmonicon is just so weird and different. Seems like fun.
I miss the Cwejman quite a bit, but is not the end of the world
