CooperFX Arcades has a sound on the Lo-Fi card called Vinyl that does it perfectly. There are controls for age and noise too so you can dial it in, just as you like!

FIXED MY MIXER!!!!! YAY!!!!
Bummer of ALL bummers happened about a week ago and I fired up my setup and my mixing board (an old Digi002 mixer - I use it as a free standing board only, not an interface...cause, well firewire) showed a bunch of gobbledy gook and wouldn't fully load up. After scouring the internet a bit, I came to learn that there is a known power harness issue that can be taken care of by simply opening it up and detaching and re-attaching some stuff (contact cleaner if you have it)...so I gave it a whirl and presto chango - IT WORKED!!!! My board is back up and running!!! Huzzah!!! So happy!!!!

Just had a RTFM moment on Zoia. I figured out how to build "channel switching" into a patch. I have a simple patch going
Gate > Dist > EQ > Cab Sim > Comp
But I wanted to be able to switch the Dist. on/off for the purpose of using external Dist. Sure enough, there's a module and button for that. Boop.
I was sitting around like a caveman thinking I'd need to wire up two similar patches and switch between them. Nope.
Now, I'm getting ideas for patching this through with more effects and rigging up a patch which switches delays or reverbs or granular effects on/off. If I feel frisky enough, I could rig the switches to Ableton MIDI automations.
...and I’ve already built in a modulation control so that an LFO switches between clean and dirty. Feeding that into a delay + reverb combo and it is quite lovely. I’ll work on a clip.

I went to my local music store today and noticed a hydrasynth plugged in and ready to play.
What a blast. I’m seriously thinking on getting one. I certainly don’t need it but it is a real joy to play.

yep. the ui is great for programming and the poly aftertouch is a blast.
I just messed with the presets. I thought they sounded good. I’m so tempted to get it for an improv jam session tomorrow night.
