Wow.
Hope you're well. Where the symptoms bad??
Any lingering things Duke? Was it obvious where you caught it? ...and if you don't mind me asking was it a surprise you caught it or was only a matter of time (meaning were you pretty much locked in all this time or out and about - no judgement either way, just curious).
Take good care of yourself. The symptoms weren’t as bad as they could’ve been. At first it felt kinda like an intense flu. Crazy body aches, fever and intense fatigue. Now, over two weeks later, it’s pretty much just fatigue. The feeling of being constantly worn out. Trying to focus on anything has been tough
I started by being extremely cautious for the first 4 months or so. Then started playing some outdoor gigs. We tried to stay distanced and take all the precautions possible, but there was still a dice roll involved. It’s tough because I really do need to make a living, but want to be a team player and keep everyone safe. Haven’t left the house in nearly 3 weeks except for solitary walks or bike rides. Hoping the fatigue lessens soon
Enjoy reading what y’all are up to though so keep it up!

Wow, I might try this one out.,
more nonsense
more nonsense
more nonsense
Nonsense??
I think this is dope as #$%.
The tones and sounds you get on the 12’s is nuts.
Nonsense would be NOT releasing your stuff.
Wait till I get done with my next release for the term “nonsense”.
(Imagine me listening back to my noise improvs to see if they evoke emotion......ya.....that’s perfectly normal right there.......ishhh)

The Flux ones have an almost Weather Report vibe to 'em. Nicely done.
There's a guy somewhere in my neighborhood using a concrete saw as I try to listen to this, and I can't quite tell where your music ends and his DPW project begins...I think that's a good thing?
Wow, thats the exact same 1st WR album I ever got.thanks.
i never thought of wr, but i can hear a few things are probably pretty zawinul-ish. hard for folks my age to escape that, i think. that being said, even though i bought the records for a while, i sorta checked out of wr after the 8:30 live album.
thanks for listening.
Wow, thats the exact same 1st WR album I ever got.
(was after getting Jaco self titled, Word of Mouth and the Live Birthday concert.)/QUOTE]
you have to understand that alb came out when i was 23, i had liked a lof of wr stuff before than (alphonso is the wr ebass player for me) and i was leaving my jaco period by then. at that point i'd already started getting into the braxton albums with dave holland and all that.
ya emotional thing is quite the challenge-fun paradox.
Especially now (for the next release) since Im doing the vocals for the 1st time ever in my life.
Its quite intimidating/scary to release.........but I will do it anyways.
(By vox I mean heavy screaming shizzle......gotta be careful not to pop an eye out of my head....litterally.)
i draw the line at singing. i keep thinking about it, but, naw. better not.
you're a better man than i.
