Ambient/Post-Rock/Textural bass playing thread

Dope!! 1:19 ftw !!!
Dang you get some awesome textures.

Nerd question:
How do you play the bass and manipulate the pedals at the same time??
Not just this track but others you shared as well.
Use 2 Roland EV5 Try to map the pedals to foot pedals. It takes time to figure out how the heel and toe relate. So a shitload of experimenting and then it doesn’t work out like you want. It’s really crapshoot so just plug em hope for the best.

I say just keep doing your thing.
I dig it. Up since 3am and can't sleep. Was a cool little nugget to listen to.

Re : experiments and crap.....yeah....I guess we've all been there.....or even still there.

Nicely done.
What are the vocal bits? Lyrics or scat?
I’m glad you like it monsterthompson! It’s a

I need to look into that more. I'm aware that it's considered a powerful tool for rhythmic development.

I feel like I’m not cool enough to understand their products. $600 radio with a continuous recording (2 hour tail).
OB–4 magic radio

But you could wirelessly connect an OP-Z to it so...

Okay, maybe I'm just being petty, but I have trouble taking seriously a company that calls itself "Teenage Engineering". I know it's weird but that name is a turnoff for me.
