I always find writing stuff out helps my brain clarify things. Sometimes even just talking it out, saying it aloud helps, but definitely writing it down...

I wonder if my Empress Trem does MIDI... Why yes, yes of course it does! I got a Disaster Area Midi Controller as a SSanta gift from one of the Breeders, I'm still not using it to its fullest potential with the M5/FI/AlterEgo...

Hey, further to working with a looper (or any other effect or chain thereof) and transmorgrifying it from one place on your board to another... well I gave you the link to the DIY earlier, though I knew there are commercially available products also available I couldn't think of any at the time, but the One Control Salamandra just popped up in another thread, and there's also similar stuff to the GGG Translocator available from RoadRageProGear (Canada), Loopi (Australia, IIRC) and a couple out of the US I still can't remember... Check out bizs such as Decibel11, they make some cool switchers and mayy have some translocatio-ratio thingy too. The dosey-do stuff is out there, but doesn't get the press 'cause it's not "glam" in most pedal-users eyes.

The main thing I miss about quitting my last band is going To Europe a few times a year...love it!

I have a PO 33. Find it a bit pesky to work with being so teeny, but you can make some fun noises
Do you have an iPad? SoundScaper, FieldScaper, Tardigrain and Samplr are awesome apps to mutate field recordings, just saying

I have an old iPad (1st gen.), and I thought about upgrading to a new one over buying a few PO boxes, since the cost could add up to a similar price. However, the size, AA battery, and quirky functions make me inclined to go with the PO. I'm interested in what can be done without "screens."

You may love the PO’s...lots of folks do and they work. I just don’t find em fun to play with

That's weird, I've been all over the 4MS site for the last two days 'cause I'm all fired up again about the ABG, Noise Swash and possibly the Nocto Loco... I guess I didn't see the Pods 'cause I was only looking at pedals.

We jammed with my fretless through some reverb. She’s getting a contact mic for it so it can run through effects and a mixer. Very fun. Relaxing stuff.

That is an interesting book. Worth reading IMO

My 33 KO had a bad Recrd button. Just swapped it for a new unit and it’s much easier to work with. I read the QC could be a bit spotty on these little units. All good now thanks to the local Sam Ash.
