you might guess that i have the dd-500.
i like it a good bit. you can do some interesting things like having the two delays (A and B slots) panned to different channels. i like to do things like reverse in one and regular in the other. it's not a well-known feature, but the assign menu allows you to program LFOs (they call them internal waves or something stupid) to different parameters in a delay patch (modulation, delay time). they also do have sde-3000/-2500 (or 2000?) emulations, plus space echo (i think). it also allows exp pedal control of many parameters. you can also use the tap switch as a momentary switch for some stuff, so you can cut stuff in and out (i usually use or a quick on/off for things like ultra-tight delay with high feedback).
it may not make you forget your strymon, but i like it.
