Yeah I dumped a bunch of $ for a new production rig, but Live is my DAW of choice, and yeah it's not anyone's idea of a lean, quick solution, ironically heh. And as for the C4 patch, hey! Sure, I have a busy couple days ahead but please do bug me and remind me, and I'll make some clips of my patch. And put it up in the Neuro community if I find out I actually did something cool haha

So had band practice today and kind of stumbled on just using the sy1 in between all my drives and then using the dials to turn down the levels so it doesn’t sound so boosted when I use my cog mini 66 before it. And it reacts better with wah after affecting both than with expression pedal...
by itself it just has an almost white noise so I with one of the “lead selections” but through the wah it does magic “ I am almost a real synth sweep”...
Found some magic!

Only downer was my oceans 11 reverb must have had the wrong knob dialled a bit so when I turned it off via foot switch the trails and effect just kept going whilst I was then playing a complex riff - nice “here’s my wall of mud sorry band guys” moment! Think I might just turn the trails off before next practice.

I’ll have to look at it if I can record ok for next practice... eager to capture these moments

I'm trying not to just say "needs more notes" because that can often be misinterpreted as an erudite jazzbo criticism. So uh, how about, motion = linear movement along the vertical pitch axis?
The entire bass part is literally "Here here here here-here there there" where "Here" = B and "There" = F#. I would have liked to hear some connecting material in between those two locations to make it more of a bass line than just a bass sound.

So yeah, "needs more notes"

I got out the 0 Coast manual. RTFM is so much different now that I've been working with the Erica. My understanding of what things do and why is different. I appreciate a few features I didn't understand. Some of the menu diving isn't as alien as it seemed before. Now, it doesn't seem so complicated to have a triangle and square wave LFO on the "B" output clock and a random on the "A" clock, and then patch them together to get a stepping effect on the overtones.

Ok, for one that thing is freakin huge. Way too big for any board I have atm.
From the short video and brief info, seems like a variation on the Red Panda Tensor Tape machine or Chase Bliss MOOD\Blooper.

I’ve never tried any of the Chase Bliss pedals, but the Red Panda is very intuitive\ easy to use and get creative.
Currently using mine in stereo (stereo in and stereo out) mode with my SP. It’s awesome to tape manipulate samples going in and out of the sampler, it opens a whole new box of colours and ideas.

The user interface in the Glou Glou looks confusing, but its just a 3min quick overview so it might not be too bad.
Huge plus is the line level and mic level ins, awesomeness

Glou Glou tend to make top quality stuff, this one should be no different. Price??

no idea on price. the looper guys i know are jazzed cause it has some edp functionality.

looks to be smaller or on par with the boomerang 3 and things of that ilk. it also looks like it had more foot control abilities than the blooper.

Ah, good point I wasn’t viewing it as a looper more of a tape machine type effect\delay.
In that case , yes the size is very reasonable if you consider the features packed in. You use the boomerang right???
Again , never tried anything chase bliss but I think they can use midi for added foot control....???
Isn’t that available loop time kind of short.....80 something secs????

Finally figured out how to drone on my 0 Coast. Man, I wish I had this figured out back when I was performing live.
I did this on phones, so I wasn't able to get the sub bass where I wanted it, but jamming around before recording I was able to get some room resonating bass. Just about 2:00 I started experimenting with the sub Osc (audio rate LFO).
A little longer than I'd like but I tried covering some ground and turning dials takes time.

This was the 0 Coast > Mixer with Aux send > Hilbish Compressimiser > Empress Delay (tape engine) > Empress Reverb (modulation engine) > Ableton

echoplex digital pro. oberheim and then gibson. one-space rack with outboard foot pedal.

i do use the bm3.

Does it do 'normal' looping like an Aeros or Jamman or is it yet another expensive glitchy loop pedal, which there already seems to be no shortage of?
