I’ve messed with sorta similar ideas, but she obviously dedicated herself to it

yeah she repeats it a lot i their. can’t tell if it’s a compositional choice or just “what she does.”

I didn't expect them to last the day, but I gotta admit I was still astonished that they sold out in ten minutes!
Kinda makes me wonder why Looperlative isn't selling more units...clearly the market is hungry for a full-featured looper. Maybe because Loupé is a pedal, not a rack?




Wait, you got a Loupé?!?! Awesome! Gonna live vicariously through you for a while now. We demand demo videos asap!

Looping racks are a funny thing. For me, they have never been a consideration from back in the days where I played so loud my old Marshall VBA400 would move around the top of the cab! Also, pedal workflow is more universal I suspect.

Plus, I've heard several things about Looperlative that make it unsuitable for my requirements.

But yes, I got a Loupe but don't have it in my paws just yet. Probably won't manage a video but will try and get some audio up once I've wrapped my brain around the thing!

Interesting. Plugged my P bass in for the first time in a while. It didn’t immediately impress me with the OTO BAM like my synth did. I’ll get things sorted out, but it’s definitely a different animal.

Last night just before my crazy bandmate dragged out that MakeNoise modular rig I posted the pic of this morning, he let me try playing through his Plumbutter gizmo.
Seems like that Plumbutter has a very finnicky input stage, and/or perhaps a disappointingly low-rez A/D converter? Even with all the processing/craziness turned off I couldn't get a decent bass tone to pass through it from input to output. Has that been your experience, or have you discovered a solution/workaround?

You mean playing bass through it? If so, I have never done that.

It has three stereo 1/8” inputs, do you know which one you used? Every input goes through a different part of the circuit, either the gongue, the AV dog, or the deerhorn. I would guess the gongue, would work best for bass.

I think the tonality of the built-in sounds is great. The gongues in particular have a massive, deep, and resonant tone.

Was it a cocoquantus?

that is the looper. If so, yes it is definitely VERY lo-fi. I sold mine because I couldn’t get a clean sound out of it.
