I have an American Loopers one that has 6 mono and 4 stereo channels, I can't imagine doing it the old way.

I think that, if I had that much money to throw at a bass, I would not mind being over the top! It’s definitely a work of art.
I think it reaches a point with me where it's distracting. I want a bass to look nice; I don't want it to be the focus, especially because I'm not a virtuoso and it looks like showing off, sometimes. I sometimes wonder if my CB body is a bit over the top.
Try cramming that huge thing with the godzilla case in the van after a CCR tribute gig.
My feeling has always been that you can get an "affordable" Ritter, and then Jen goes all out and makes an art piece here or there. For what they sell for I'm guessing those are bought by collectors. I've played a Ritter. Really great basses.

Each time someone posts one of his demos I propose an "Acid/House beat" warning tag.
It’s his bumbling explanations that get me more than the acid/house sounds.
That said, if there’s some interesting noise potential in that pedal. The mono design is the biggest “bummer” that jumps right out, but you could always just buy 2 instead of getting a Ritter

I think we’ve covered the whole Tinez music is dopey stuff. I just thought the pedal sounded really interesting. It is a shame it’s not stereo, but it is unique
Yeah. As much as I gripe, his YT demos and music career are light years beyond what I’m doing in terms of reach and success.
The sound design potential is pretty interesting. There were a few moments where I could hear just using the pedal as an instrument by itself. You don’t need a ton of source audio to get that box into interesting territory.

Not really stereo is it? Each channel has a different decay, one short and one longer.
This thread on the gear page forum has an interesting discussion on stereo spring reverb. One user has some interesting arguments on why it is not possible to have a true stereo spring reverb.
