I still have a Bloom in my case. It’s pretty darn good at getting quick ideas, then randomizing that idea within a given scale. Easy to change pattern lengths or just put an LFO on the reset input to get happy accidents. I think it’s a little over $300, but can be had used for a bit less. Doesn’t take up a ton of space. Those are some positives about it. The Erica Black Sequencer or Intellijel take that same concept quite a bit further but are bigger and more expensive
Well, I just snagged a Korg SQ 64 and it’s cool but I could see wanting a dedicated sequencer in the rack.
