happened to me too. The OT was a revelation:
the first time an electronic instrument felt like a "real" instrument.

Not a huge setup. ( well, debatable, haha / since my modular is something nicer)

Unfortunately, could i NEVER gel with anything for production works. I tryed so hard ( i mean: i bought so many boxes, haha)
The OT would have been it, really ! But the global track mute-states killed that aspect for me.
So there is not really something i ever produced. No.
We made our music in band context. But thats gonne, since 18 years. (since i had an accident and had to quit the Bass back then. until this year. but my fretting arm is still not ok)

ok, Ego mode, since i have been asked: (Sorry ! please don´t mind )
i just have jamms and sounddemos vs. modules online.
but you folks might have a laughter on this one:
( thats NOT samples ! NO samples, just synthesis = happy accident, plus riding it on a jam)


i personally like this type of work. its live piano playing thru some Fx. Even fits the ambient thematic here, kind of. ( one hand on the Piano, one on the trackpad)


i have here three interesting ones, all DT only.
this one was based on one sample-use only! Forums challenge at elektronauts (NO resampling allowed) ( btw., i don´t smoke ! was CBD weed. i use it for cooking purposes)


DT only, NO samples used. ONLY sampled the "unconnected" Audio in, which gets automatically normalised, so you end up with one noise sample.
*everything* has been made out of this one sample ( plus resampling).
its two such tracks

this was the first work in this series of three.

i lost then the lust with DT, since i recongised that the DT was not able for proper resampling. I had sounds going, that i just could not resample, keeping the original sound. ( based on using the Delay as a resonator, and doing a resampling this way over several iterations)

yes, i in fact totally love this type of things/work. It gives a clear focus, and a challenge to take as well. I wanted to pick up on his type of work with my OT mkII, but couldn´t get back to it. I really hope for a more powerful machine to come one day.

Respectivly should i finally go more serious with my Bass into this type of thing.
But then taking the computer as a base.
Bass only ! all FX allowed ! resampling allowed !....use of ALL software allowed.
But: make tracks *just* based on ***Bass*** (those with strings )
Playing, sampling, cutting, FX-ing, ......and arranging, using DAWs or whatever.
Bass Only, based on live playing + rec/sampling.

where i struggle is:
i end up with too many samples, when i begin to record and cut to samples.
arranging it the right way into folders. I lose overview, and can´t bring it into any concept. Its a tough one to start any production work, from there.
i should try harder

Nice range of sounds @Funky40 and I like the challenges. You fit right in here!

I also really like my OT but I have to keep things simple or I lose track of it between uses. It's so idiosyncratic that it's hard to remember how some things work. I have never really understood how to integrate "parts" into my music-making. I mean, I've read the manuals and seen demos, just don't know how it would work for me. My main complaint about the OT is that it has a bias toward sync, which is great if that's what you're doing, but if not, there's a bunch of stuff to avoid/turn off (I have the same complaint about Live).
