Ambient/Post-Rock/Textural bass playing thread

I thought Moog was offering a bundle package with those two recently.

Yup, that's what I'm trying to sell stuff to finance! They are coming out with a triple-bundle package soon too - that's why I was checking out the Mother-32 - it also has a sequencer and I think is the only one that can do swing, but that's not a big deal for me.

Stomach flu since Monday.
Someone end me.
Can finally hold fluids for the 1st time in 48 hours

I hope you recorded it so you can mangle the sounds later! :D Just kidding, hope it isn't serious and you feel better soon!

Ugh. I feel your pain, literally. Side effect of the cancer drugs is all sorts of intestinal problems. I've had the sh*ts (and exquisite cramps) on and off for 10 days now. Really exhausting.

Really hope you get better soon!

Ya, if you havent puked and @%##* at the same time, you haven't lived.

Been there, I remember the poisoning was from bad cheeseburgers I had at the mall. I was seeing snow falling all over my appartement, like a storm but inside.,
That was completly nuts

mine was a bit sexier . . . bad seafood in mexico city . . . visions of black serpents in my guts.

Stop. Just stop.

Also I think I want to try to use as many Bill Paxton gifs as possible for a while.

Any reason to consider the Samples? Other than to save a few bucks.
two completly different stories ! not comparable.
i´d take a samples for on the quick additional dabbling, with some very few dedicated samples.
octatrack unleashes its potential only if you really dive in. it IS a must with the OT.
"then" it becomes the quickest machine to work with ever.

since you like distorted sounds, if not even ugly, OT is for you, soundwise.
several good things in the OT, tend to make things sound more dull, distorted, or even ugly ;)
folks who want to keep it strictly clean have a harder time.
But: OT is not exactly worth it, if one would not give here some higher attention.
Which eats up time.
in my opinion are folks who tend to buy everything, not exactly the ones made for the OT. ;)

and i guess, that´s the thread here for that type of folks, no ?

For the record: Not only have I puked and @%##* at the same time, but I was sitting on the toilet @%##*ing at the time and so I wound up puking into my pants.

Still can't figure out why the girl I was with that night didn't marry me...

My drill instructor described that as "burning the candle at both ends" and explained that was part of the awful process of dying from radiation sickness. Fun guy he was.
