TC could easily upload firmware to the ditto line of loopers to smooth out start and end transients to make them do the exact same thing.

So the MioXM arrived and everything can talk to everything. Wonderful.
Except: their proprietary configuration software, which is only available on desktop, has a bug in that it crashes everything time I click “preset.” There appears to be no other way to save a configuration. Tried both my computer and my wife’s.
Support ticket logged. Wall punched.

In other gear arrival news, my Light Pedal arrived today even though it was scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. I'm not complaining. It is pretty wild! It almost feels like an instrument unto itself.
Yeah, this might fill that empty slot. I miss my Superego but I think this is probably better.
Figuring all that out right now, too. My tutorial vid got some great reception in various places. Could it have been THE WHOLE NOTES?

If you were in an online forum from an artist who's been incredibly influential on your music (as in top 5), and you mentioned that in a comment and he wrote back, "Glad to hear your carving in sound,"... would you take that as "I'd be glad to hear your carving in sound", meaning he'd be happy to listen to your music, or would you see it as a typo where he meant "Glad to hear you're carving in sound," which would also make sense?
My godless, I hope it was the latter.

Ugly and noisy, but I had fun making this. M8 and EssenceFM
Well, I'll be. The kindness of a stranger on the Mean Blue Board actually helped me find the problem. It needed a firmware update. Now I can begin my seminar this morning in the calm, quiet, knowledge that all my MIDI devices will talk with one another through a hub, and through the hub also interact with CV, and all without a computer being plugged in. It's over. I win. Everything works. I can hardly believe it.
Maybe it's too early in the morning for me still, but I can't make heads or tails of that sentence.
My guess would be the latter, but that's why you have a Soundcloud/Bandcamp/Youtube link available so anyone can see what the hubbub is about - either the artist if they actually are interested, or someone else reading it who might think, "wow, if this person wants to hear it maybe I should hear it too" - and you don't even have to push it on them, it's just there.
Perhaps “your carving in sound” is meant to be a carving (like a stature) equivalent in audio form. Your carving, in sound.

Quite a few things! There’s a kick and snare sample that comes with the M8, the high pitched metallic hat sound is from EssenceFM, a second kick from EssenceFM and a very noisy percussion loop from a Cwejman SM-1 that I sold awhile back and really regret doing so.
