Thank goodness I finally got around to listening to Boris after all these years. Thanks thread!
This new album is great.
This new album is great.
Boris named themselves after a Melvins song. strong recommendation.
I'm 10 seconds in and I'm loving it!
edit: 30 seconds in and I'm somewhat less enamored (man, I really need to learn some patience!) but I'd probably enjoy them doing this stuff live.
As a few of you know, my new fretless 6, how should I put this... 'didn't work out', detailed in another thread that got some mojo yesterday.
Just put down a deposit on another Bordwell. Got a year wait, but it's not like I don't have plenty of toys to keep me busy.
I now see the difference in a luthier that puts out 4 a month versus 12 a year. Now I just have to not change my mind 50 times about the top wood (which I still haven't figured out, yet). Might go for some sort of burl this time.
No, Bordwell only does 12 a year.bordwell makes more?
Looking at that myself this morning. Tempting, but I put myself on a strict financial diet for the foreseeable future.Anyone here following the new Chase Bliss pedal? Habit.
