Looks like the Deluge synths are catching up on production. It’s the last big ticket GAS item on my radar for 2019. I don’t need it, but it’s nice to see they are available if I’m really interested.

I did price out a euro rack synth and effects rig, and it was more than I wanted to deal with. I think I’ll keep rolling soft-synth stuff instead.

Been thinking for a couple weeks on picking up an H9. I love the app integration. I like the ventris and my El Cap but I really love the Eventide stuff and the blue tooth functionality. It’s nice not to have a pedal hooked up to my computer and to be able to make changes in real time. Thoughts? I’m sure there are some users in this thread.

I’ve been thinking about getting one of these too. Suzanne Ciani uses one in her live rig.

I had two on my board at one time but now I have none. They are so deep and I am so anal that I found myself into the pedals more than practicing. And I was looking to simplify my setup.

That said, I really miss them. The sounds are so stellar. And once you learn your way around the app, it really isn't that hard to configure them. You just need to be disciplined not to go down one of the two million rabbit holes ("but what would it sound like if I added just a little more of ...?).

Every now I then, I seriously think about picking another one up.

I just watched a (pretty mediocre) video from Sweetwater on this looper. The guy said all four loops can be different lengths, but didn’t really demonstrate that.

Enzo and Empress Reverb came in- Enzo? Hot damn... holy s@@t! After 5 min I ordered a Chase Bliss midi controller for preset access. Pretty essential to get the most out of it, I think. This Enzo changes everything, no exaggeration. Empress in, Ventris out- for what I do, the Empress is superior. I do not like the SD card though. Why not a USB? Oh well, the pedal sound is worth it- more organic, by far, capable of giving the impression of synthesis itself. Yeah I need to share clips here soon. Obligatory pic of the new hardware:

Have you used anything to access presets? The one drawback is the lack of ports... I'd gladly pay more to have an analog expression pedal and midi simultaneously... although I'm guessing you can control everything via midi, so maybe just a bit more kit to interface would do it...

Honestly, my pedals are mostly for home studio use, so I just dial up something, then start over fresh next time. Saving presets would be cool though!
