AMERICAN IDOL'S :Randy Jackson

I once saw Kool And The Gang live on TV, and although there was a guy with a bass guitar on stage the bass lines were definitely keyboard ones!

Just like Brad mention...that guy holding the bass onstage is "Kool" (Robert "Kool" Bell), that's where they get "Kool and the Gang".

Keyboard supported basslines is nothing new with them...they've done it that way since dang near the beginning. It's a big band. They do play, and they have enough guys to cover eachother for the showmanship.

Maybe it's just because I am german, but in "American Idiot" he comes across quite dumb to me (not his judgements on the candidates' performances, but the rest!).
I dont know if I would call a person dumb that has gotten himself to the title of Senior A&R rep in proably the biggest Music conglamorent in the bussiness (Sony). Hmmmmmmm, wonder what would've happen if Mr.Jackson was real smart.
