I am looking at getting another one locally for $250.
I got my B-100R today off Craigslist for $250. I feel that that is a good fair price today. It even still had the plastic on the control panel. Great condition. I tightened all the screws and made sure the cardboard tubes were secure; one was off inside. One black knob is split in half. I will try superglue and see if that works. I'm sure it will be easily available if I can't fix it securely or I don't like the look. I might look up some casters too. Maybe a cover.
It sounds so great. This is my third B-100R. You'd think I would learn to hang onto such a good amp. Last time I went with the PF-500 which sounded great also. Nothing will fill a small to medium sized area like a B-100R though. Even at nice low volume it fills.

I love my B-100R. It's a bit heavy, but it sounds really good. I actually like it a lot more than the SVT-7(s) I used to own. I'm currently playing in a musical (Thoroughly Modern Mille) and I'm leaving it in the pit for the duration. It produces just the right amount of punch and definition without scaring the wind players.
I notice with my EB3 my b100 sounds compressed. The low-end is squashed. Its hard to explain,but maybe some of you have noticed the same thing? is there some kind of buffer in these amps?
Yes, there is a pretty strong limiter...part of the amp's magic but also it really lowers the low end at higher volumes.
Yes, the EB3 has tons of low end, right? That's probably why. The B-100r doesn't really have much deep bass response, so giving it too much probably just squashes everything.
Then yeah that's def what's going on then. But it's actually kinda cool. It helps to tame the beast!
Where would be the least expensive place to get some casters for my B-100R? They didn't come with mine when I bought it. I think I am going to make my own cover when I get around to it.
A hardware store would likely be the least expensive place. Don't believe they ever came with casters, did they? So you could just find a set at the hardware store and put them on if you want. Me, I'd get one of those little Magna Cart handtrucks instead.
Thanks everyone. I will try the Ernie Ball ones or check with Fliptops. In the room where I keep it, I have to move it to open a closet all the time. Since it has the sockets built in, I thought I'd make it so it would just roll out of the way. I really am liking the amp. As I said before, it is my third one. I just need to keep this one. No amp does better for me. And it really isn't too bad to carry at all.

I have a newer one (bought less than a year ago) and it came with casters but they are junky and worthless. I tried some hardware store casters but they didn't work out, the fit was wrong. I will try the sources you guys mentioned next.
