Ampeg B-100r Rocket Aficionados

Didn’t know this was a thread, love it!
I had an SVT and stepped back into this used combo as it better suited my needs. Once Mrs Bent asked me to turn down in the house, it moved into the garage with the other combo
Currently daisy chained of the effects feed from the 115v2
Using the Rocket to cover more of the treble end of things with the v2 running more of the low side

I had one from 2000 until I traded it last year for a used Ampeg fliptop 1x15 cabinet.
I never really loved the sound... to me, it lacked low mids. It was fine in the studio and on big stages, and I liked using it with a Stingray, because I could send lots of low end into it. But with passive Fenders at smaller gigs or rehearsals, it had a persistent boxy honk that I couldn't get rid of.
In a way, I wish I still had it since these things are so beloved by a lot of people. But that's just silly. It would sit in a closet. :meh:

Looking for a B100r in excellent condition. If you have one and are willing to let it go, hit me up. I’m in NorCal. I’ve owned a few of them over the years and regret letting go of my last one. Tks!

All I got for now. Listed earlier this morning, jumped on it right away. Seems pretty clean, we’ll see.
They are great amps. I always keep one in my stable. I’ve given a couple away because they sound so good and they’re pretty loud. I’ve had up to 3 at a time:)
