Ampeg B2RE for $50 new?

I got a cancellation notice, too. I'm fu**ing pissed! :mad::mad::mad:

I think I'm gonna pursue it and push it as far as I can. I got some things to do atm, but I'm gonna give someone an earful around 4-5 CST.
wow, let's hope you never make a financial mistake and have to deal with a person like you on the other end.

i would like to predict how far you will get...

i predict from:

here > < to here

Haha. Seriously. As pointed out numerous times they're well within their rights to cancel the orders. Do you really think raging on them will make them send you the amp? Ever hear the phrase you catch more flies with honey than vinegar? Well I doubt you're going to catch any flies and all you're going to do is make someone's day more miserable when they had nothing to do with the mistake. :rollno:

Why?:confused:

They made a mistake; everyone does at some point, which is why they have the disclaimer posted earlier in this thread.

To all the self righteous "something for nothing" posters, here's a question;
If you bought an item from a fellow TBer that was listed for $25, and when you sent the PayPal you made a decimal error (you know; just like a data entry person at MF did) and accidently sent $250 or even $2500, should you "man up", and "do the right thing" and honor your error?

When you disputed the transaction (and admit it; you would dispute it), should the seller be
fu**ing pissed! :mad::mad::mad:
, and "pursue it and push it" as far as they can? Should the seller call your phone and
give someone an earful around 4-5 CST.

Think about it.

Don't get me wrong; If I has seen the ad, I would have ordered a few also! ;)

But.. the entiltlement attitudes and out right anger at not getting a "free lunch" mystifies me, and IMO one of the major, maybe even the core problem at the cause of the currently prevailing economic conditions.

By Canadian law, they would be forced to ship them.

Any way, there's a dude who bought a 800$ bass on amazon for the price of its hard case. And he received it.

I know nothing about Canadian law, in the scenario I described above would you also be obligated to honor the PayPal funds sent in error?
Can anyone confirm this? Are retailers truly obligated to honor mistakes, even when the post a disclaimer against that eventuality?
If true I would imagine US retailers need to take a long look at shipping goods into Canada! :eek:

What the hell did you think was going to happen?? Imagine if it were you on their end. You probably don't even need the amplifier, you just jumped on because everyone else did.
